Hey Friend!

Years ago, a friend gave me a Bosch mixer as a gift. At the time, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it! She also insisted that I get a lift to install it inside a cabinet on my island, making it effortless to pull out and use and then put away when I was done.

I had never baked bread from scratch before and wasn’t even sure I really wanted to—it seemed so intimidating. I had used a bread machine and absolutely loved the amazing smell of fresh-baked bread wafting through the house, but making it by hand felt like a whole new level.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I started experimenting. Eventually, I discovered a dough recipe that was so simple and versatile, it became my gateway to the world of baking bread. That recipe sparked a journey I never expected to love so much and I can’t wait to share it with you!
